DOD Watch Condemns Army Reserve Officer's Misconduct and Calls for Accountability

WASHINGTON – DOD Watch, an organization dedicated to exposing radical policies within the Department of Defense, issued the following statement after recent reporting that a senior Army Reservist and DEI specialist allegedly posted explicit content, including images of himself in uniform, on a secret social media account.  

"DOD Watch is alarmed by the reported actions of Lt. Col. Adam Harmon. Such behavior is a blatant violation of military standards and undermines the integrity and discipline essential to our armed forces.​

"Lt. Col. Harmon's alleged conduct, including posting explicit material while in uniform and during overseas deployment, is not only a serious breach of military regulations but also poses potential national security risks. Engaging in such activities compromises the trust and respect that service members must uphold.

"​Furthermore, this incident and Lt. Col. Harmon’s position as DEI specialist highlight the detrimental impact of DEI initiatives within the military. The focus on DEI has diverted attention from the military's core mission of ensuring readiness and national security.

"​We urge the Army Reserve to take swift and decisive action in addressing this matter. It is crucial to send a clear message that conduct unbecoming of an officer will not be tolerated and that adherence to the highest standards of professionalism is mandatory for all service members.”
