WASHINGTON – DOD Watch, an organization dedicated to exposing radical policies within the Department of Defense (DOD), issued the following statement after the Supreme Court allowed President Trump’s ban on transgender troops in the military to go into effect:
“In a decision as obvious as it should have been unnecessary, the Supreme Court rightly ruled that President Trump and Secretary of Defense Hegseth have the right to make decisions about the military the American people elected them to lead. Let us hope this is the last instance the judicial branch attempts to hamper the reasonable application of executive authority.
"The Trump administration's policy to ban transgender people from serving in the military is a no-brainer. The military’s job is about readiness, cohesion, and toughness, not catering to delusional political correctness. Letting people who reject basic biological facts into our armed forces weakens everything we stand for. It’s absurd that this even had to be a debate. We applaud the Court for standing firm and recognizing that national defense should never be held hostage to woke ideology.”
